The Airport houses a Chaplaincy, various Shopping stores,
entertainment facilities, restaurants and cafes. So when your
waiting for your flight there will always be plenty to do
or a place to relax, to eat, shop or refuel before joining

The Chaplaincy - The Chaplaincy is located on the first floor
of the terminal building next to a Boots store. It is open
at all times for prayer and reflection. Prayers for the airport
community take place on Friday afternoons between 12.30pm
and 1.00pm. Shopping Outlets at Newcastle - Newcastle
Airport shops include Boots, WHSmiths and of course there
is the all important Tax & Duty Free Shop in the departure
lounge. Other facilities include a Nail studio and a Portrait
service. Entertainment Facilities - There is plenty
to do entertainment wise while you wait for a flight at Newcastle
Airport including:
- The GameGrid Entertainment Area - an arcade area with
video games and children rides.
- The Young Flyers Children's Play Area - A free play area
facility designed for children under the age of seven years.
- The Viewing Area - this is an open air balcony area that
has full view of the runway and the planes taking off and
landing. Ideal for Plane spotting.
- Restaurants and Eateries - At Newcastle Airport there
is a wide range of restaurants and eateries to cater for
different diets. Restaurants at the airport include Connections
Food court, Costa Coffee, a Cushie Butterfields Pub, Into
the Blue Bar and Café Rapide.
